London artist Hanna Benihoud today unveils a new immersive mural ‘Inside Out ‘The artwork was inspired by engagement with residents whereby 1000 postcards were posted through doors inviting residents to be part of the process.

‘Inside Out’ is an immersive mural in Edmonton, North London. The artwork pulls you in from the high-street and leads you through the under croft of a housing estate.
Commissioned by Enfield Council as part of the GLA’s Good Growth Fund, the artwork was inspired by engagement with residents where 1000 postcards were placed through doors inviting residents to be part of the process.
The engagement was facilitated through workshops with the ‘Dream, Believe, Succeed’ youth group led by Edmonton Community Partnership and delivered by Wood Street Walls.

Enfield Council’s Leader, Cllr Nesil Caliskan, said, “Hanna’s new artwork really enlivens the space.
This mural, along with other public artworks around the Fore Street area, represent the people who live, work and study in Angel Edmonton.
They illustrate the hopes and aspirations of local people in a bold and vivid manner and compliment the ongoing transformation of Fore Street by Enfield Council
and partners.”
